Giza keeps the plateau close for an 8 am start. Zamalek splits the ride time between the Giza day and the old-city day.

Giza area entry is EGP 700. The GEM's galleries stay open until 9 pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Muhammad Ali's mosque, Sultan Hasan's courtyard and al-Muizz Street, then the stalls of Khan el-Khalili.

Saqqara opens at 8 am. NMEC's last daytime ticket is at 4 pm, and its Royal Mummies Hall displays 20 royal mummies.
